organization of American companies building business with China.

Sustainable design strategies in fashion and textiles have so far primarily focused on material
substitution and fair wages for overseas producers. A broader, more holistic and forward-looking
vision is now emerging, which champions full life cycle approaches, questions the rhythms of the
fashion industry and offers new patterns of consumption.
Lynda Grose has been in the fashion industry for 25 years. Lynda works with clients ranging from
The Sustainable Cotton Project, Aid to Artisans, Gap Inc, Patagonia, Green Peace, 13-mile Farm,
and Shayan Craft center. She is also senior adjunct professor at California College of the Arts in
San Francisco.

is a frequent speaker on the luxury market, retail trends, color directions and consumer shifts. She
consults with major brands on color direction, product assortment and brand positioning as part of
the Pantone color think tank.

DuPont, Land Rover and Jaguar cars, Philips Electronics. He received his MA in Industrial Design
from the Royal College of Art.
